4expenses is a business expense management platform, part of the 4b2b ecosystem alongside 4invoices.net (invoicing), 4notify.net (SMS/Email/WhatsApp notifications) and 4hosting.net (hosting). We help companies in Romania close the gap between the moment an employee pays for something and the moment that expense lands correctly in accounting: the receipt is photographed on the spot, OCR reads the supplier, date, amount and VAT, the report routes for approval with the budget in view, and the approved batch exports with accounts and documents attached. The difference from paper or spreadsheet settlements: the repeatable work — transcribing amounts, computing per diem, chasing open advances, matching card transactions to receipts — is automated, and finance sees spending in real time rather than at month close.
Every expense is visible in real time: budget consumption by department and project, open advances with their age, settlements awaiting approval, and card transactions with no document. The monthly price is fixed, with no hidden costs.
Expense policies, per diem ceilings and supporting-document requirements are applied when the report is created, not at rejection. Going over a rule stays possible, but becomes an exception owned by a named person and recorded in the audit log.
OCR reads the documents and explicitly flags the fields it is unsure about, and card reconciliation closes the clear matches on its own. The decisions that matter — approving a budget overrun, treating an unusual expense — stay with a person.
